Woodmeister
For over four decades, Woodmeister has built a legacy as master builders renowned for their exquisite architectural millwork and residential construction. To set the stage for their 45th anniversary, the family-owned firm partnered with Hanna Creative to rethink their brand with a new website and visual identity that reflects the exceptional quality and breadth of their portfolio. Though long admired within the design and building community, the Massachusetts-based company had flown somewhat under the radar—growing quietly through reputation and word of mouth. With the founder’s daughter stepping into leadership, Woodmeister was ready to tell an evolved story, honoring its heritage and celebrating the enduring trust inspired by its founder and the loyal craftspeople who have shaped its history.
The new website positions the company's masterful work, highlighting projects that range from classic estates to contemporary coastal retreats. A graceful stamp-style logomark—anchored by the “W” as a mark of provenance—underscores the firm’s heritage of craftsmanship. The visual identity balances tradition and modernity: architectural uppercase typography conveys strength and precision, while a refined sans serif body font supports longer-form storytelling. Subtle, scroll-triggered animations add depth without distraction, and a color palette of earthy tones evokes the natural materials and meticulous woodwork that have long defined the firm’s hallmark and legacy.
