Unionworks
Named to ELLE DECOR’s A-List for five consecutive years, NYC-based Unionworks is a collective of architects, designers, and artisans whose work spans urban townhouses, waterfront retreats, and Michelin-starred restaurants. Led by founder and principal Poonam Khanna, a trained architect known for her soulful sensibility and collaborative ethos, the firm has collaborated with Hanna Creative Co. since 2019.
Over the course of our work together, we’ve seen both the studio and its body of work continue to evolve, supporting that evolution across its digital presence through website design, creative direction, and ongoing social media strategy and management. We also work closely with Unionworks’ PR team at Sarah Boyd Co., helping align editorial moments and press with the firm’s broader digital storytelling.
This marks the second website we’ve created for Unionworks, building on the identity and digital presence we first developed together while creating a more expansive platform for the firm today.
We refreshed the typography and color palette and translated the evolved visual language into an image-forward digital experience. A play on negative space creates moments of restraint and pause, while larger, more generous photography brings a more evocative quality to the work. Together, these shifts give each project room to unfold on its own terms, allowing the architecture, interiors, materials, and details to carry the narrative.
The result is a digital presence that gives greater expression to the depth and range of Unionworks’ practice, while creating room for the firm and its work to continue to evolve.
